Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are looking for a dynamic and creative person to form part of our team as an Accounts Receivable Clerk.

Main duties and responsibilties:

- Generate and issue sales invoices to customers in a timely manner

- Sending weekly invoices and account statements to customers

- Upload sales invoices into the customer extranet database system

- Processing payments received from clients via Virtual Credit Card

- Post bank receipts collected through Epos machines into accounting system

- Monitor and reconcile cash receipts for locally sold excursions

- Follow up and chase payments from debtors who are on pre-payment credit terms

- Respond to and resolve customer billing inquiries and disputes

- Carrying out other general accounting duties as may be required

The ideal candidate is expected to be proficient in Microsoft Office and able to correspond in English. Prior experience in a similar role is considered an asset.

Based on the information provided, this role requires attention to detail and good communication abilities to handle customer queries and collections. Familiarity with sales invoicing, payment processing and accounting software would be beneficial.
